Following a string of sold-out headline shows earlier this year – including two dates at London’s Bush Hall – and the launch of his ‘More of HER’ playlist which featured tracks such as “Hi Grade,” “Road Closed,” and “Crud,” dynamic UK R&B artist ANGEL continues his unstoppable ascent with the release of his new single “Take You Home.”
The first official single from his forthcoming album WOMAN, pays homage to iconic ’90s R&B and Hip-Hop hits including Foxy Brown & Blackstreet’s “Get Me Home” and SWV’s “I’m So Into You.”
Over the infectious self-produced track, ANGEL once again pulls listeners in with his signature mix of throwback influences combined with his distinctive vocals, songwriting and production talents.
“Give me all your lovin,’ don’t stop / I can’t wait until we reach the top / All night long,” he sings while borrowing from Mary J. Blige’s classic single “Mary Jane.”
“Take You Home” is the perfect introduction to Angel’s anticipated full-length album, which is due out in 2018.
