SZA delivered a thrilling set at last month’s Vevo Halloween concert.
On the bill with fellow breakout stars Khalid, Julia Michaels, Aminé, and Jessie Reyez, the TDE songstress electrified the Craneway Pavilion in Richmond, CA.
Wearing an oversized purple camouflage jacket, SZA launched her versatile set with “Supermodel.” After the opening number, a smiling Solana stared at the crowd with excitement.
“What the fuck is good, Bay Area?” she yelled in the midst of dazzling lights. “Who got day jobs? Who taking a break from their day job to come fuck with us right now?” Then, she fittingly segued into “Broken Clocks.”
The set featured an array of tracks from her acclaimed debut album Ctrl and more, including “The Weekend,” “Drew Barrymore,” “HiiiJack,” “Garden (Say It Like Dat),” “Love Galore,” and “Child’s Play.” The latter was a major standout, as SZA performed the track, including a portion of Chance the Rapper’s verse, with her own flavor.
