Chris Brown keeps the new music surprises coming with the brand new song, “Him or Me.”
Over a track that features a sped-up vocal sample, the R&B star sings about driving his girl to cheat on him, and giving her an ultimatum. “Try to drink away the misery, too drunk too angry,” he sings. “Gotta come clean to figure it out / She cheated.”
Previewing the track on Instagram, Brown said it was all about sharing his feelings through passionate songwriting. “people don’t really know how much this is a passion and purpose for me to create and express emotion,” he wrote. “I put out music because you accept whatever gift I may have… BUT THE GIFT IS ONLY CREATED BY YOU!”
Earlier this month, Brown released the 57-track deluxe edition of his new album Heartbreak on a Full Moon. He has also shared more new single tracks with “Goin At It,” “Sirens,” and “Last All Night.”
