New Music: H.E.R. – My Song

Ending 2017 with a high note, buzzing songstress H.E.R. releases the piano-led new ballad, “My Song.”

Over a sparse bed of keys, the gifted singer-songwriter belts out a personal testimony of gratitude toward a lover who has completed her world.

“When I hear your name, put a smile up on my face / It don’t matter the time or place,” she sings. “You make it all better now / I could love you forever now.”

In June, the artist previously known as Gabi Wilson, released H.E.R. Vol. 2, followed by Vol. 2 — The B Sides in October. Both projects were then combined with her 2016 breakout EP H.E.R., Vol. 1, which as a group make up her self-titled full-length album.

Next year, H.E.R. is set to take her “Lights On Tour” to Europe and the U.K.
