Keke Palmer is bossin’ up this year. Following last month’s promo song “PREGAME,” the singer/actress stays turnt with her new Trap-n-B single “BOSSY.”
Palmer delivers a melodic flow with flossin’ and stuntin’ filled lyrics over production by Tasha Catour. “Body cold, frosty / And I’m so bossy / And I’m so saucy / And my clothes cost me,” she sing raps. “December cold, walk by feel a draft / Little booties matter, don’t need a lot of ass.”
Speaking about the single and her independent music movies, Keke said: “Right now I’m in a super empowering place musically. After working so long with different record companies, I’ve decided to do things independently and create my own label. Not just for myself, but hopefully for other young artists that are looking to feel change of their own musical careers while having and receiving the support/nurturing environment they need to grow. ‘Bossy’ in so many ways is a musical expression of the state of mind I’ve developed through my artistic growth.”
