Prior to kicking off his “Don’t Judge Me Tour,” Ty Dolla $ign is giving fans more visuals off his acclaimed new album Beach House 3.
The latest being for the standout promo song “Ex” featuring YG. The R&B slapper breeds a vintage film style where Ty and YG party with a crew of beautiful woman and ride through the streets of LA in their low riders.
The ’90s R&B influenced track, which samples 112’s “Only You,” finds the Cali natives singing and rapping about their exes and main chicks.
“I just text my main chick, I told her I ain’t coming home tonight,” Ty sings over the bass-heavy production. “I know I be up to no good / Baby I know I’m just misunderstood.”
“That’s how you know when it’s all bad,” rhymes YG. “She call me, I text her, I couldn’t call back / What she imagined in her head, I’m doing all that / I tell her I’m not / She like, ‘YG, you a thot.’”
Next month, Ty$ will kick off his “Don’t Judge Me Tour” on Feb. 21 in Santa Ana, Ca. The 37-date trek will hit cities including Portland, Vancouver, Seattle, Las Vegas, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Philadelphia, and many more before coming to a close Apr. 12 in Los Angeles.
