Adrian Daniel grew up in the rough Brooklyn neighborhood of East Flatbush / Brownsville. Starting his career as a dancer, gracing stages like the Apollo Theater and the Brooklyn Academy, he turned his focus to music and dropped his first project in 2012. Since then, Adrian has been gaining ground with his signature Alternative R&B sound and captivating live show. The soulful singer/songwriter’s critically acclaimed 2016 project ‘Disillusions‘ has garnered him over 1 million streams.

Becoming known as the sound of Brooklyn R&B, Adrian Daniel is captivating audiences with his signature soulful sonics. Melding musical influences ranging from Kanye West to Michael Jackson to Tame Impala and beyond, he is set on defying genres and labels. This is exemplified in his brand new album, FLAWD, which was just released via 1990 Records / Empire.

The crooner previously teased the 14-track album with the songs “Open Up,” “This City,” “Havoc” and the most recent single, “Deadly Attraction.” With the album’s official release on Friday (March 2), Adrian shared his feelings about creating this album, and finally delivering it to the world.

“Making ‘Flawd’ was a healing experience for me,” he says. “It allowed me to shed things and people that didn’t value me and it also allowed me to take a look at myself and accept the things that aren’t perfect. It helped me see my worth and see that I’m human just like everyone else. I bleed and hurt the same way you do. So this record is about loving people in spite of their flaws and not being afraid to talk about them.”

FLAWD is available everywhere now. Stream it below via Spotify.
