After teasing fans last year with an in-studio clip, which they shared on Instagram, Elijah Blake and Jordin Sparks have leaked their duet remix to “Rendezvous.”
The smooth slow jam is a standout off Blake’s underrated 2017 album Audiology. The late-night hook up song goes to new levels with the addition of Sparks, who jumps off the remix with a sultry verse. While the world is sleeping they are creeping, as she describes her drive over to her lover’s place and how she plans to service him.
“I got a present for you, how you gon’ pay it forward?” sings Jordin. “Had to be at the door to see your reaction / Oh baby your gift is me, I’m at your service.”
Elijah takes the second verse alluding to a backseat hook up in his unmarked black Monte Carlo. “Please don’t be too fancy,” he croons. “Bringing them Vicky’s just to lose them in my backseat.”
Jordin Sparks is currently expecting her first child with her husband Dana Isaiah, which she surprisingly revealed last November. Elijah has been busy promoting Audiology, and he has new videos on the way.
