Confidence and self-love isn’t given it’s grown. Toronto songstress GNA has delivered the music video for her female anthem “Love Me.”
Taking a stand for loving yourself first, the singer sets the bar high for her future partner. The visual is a cute display of this as she chills with her girls at a local diner, performing in the parking lot while being approached with the same-o, same-o from random guys.
“Never needed anyone to be by my side / Walk around my city with my head held high,” she sings. “So fly / Some say I’m a diva, I say I’m a leader, other girls wanna be / If you really think you can handle me / You better show me boy ’cause I fulfill all my needs.”
The empowering song boasts anthemic elements with a mix of heavy-hitting, dark, and elevating synths. The strong production compliments the singer’s confident demands to receive the same respect and devotion that she already carries in herself.
Check out the video above and look for more from GNA coming this year.
