Prior to his upcoming performance at Coachella, The Weeknd may be getting ready to drop new music. The pop/R&B superstar was reportedly filming a new music video in a small California town recently.
According to TMZ, production sources said the singer took over Taft, California — about 120 miles northwest of Los Angeles — last week to film the visual for his new single. Apparently, one of the scenes will feature Abel riding on some sort of hoverboard.
They have also speculated that a new track and possibly the video will be released next month, before The Weeknd takes the stage at Coachella, where he’s headlining the Friday night shows, April 13 & 20.
The new song will be his first solo music since he released his Starboy album in 2016.
