Bridget Kelly returned last month with the new single and video, “Sedated.” This week, the singer/songwriter surprises fans with a new record titled “Something” featuring rapper Chaz French.
Laid back and breezy the silky track finds BK with a relaxed motive as she encourages her man to join her for a getaway.
“Maybe we could blow some trees, something / Take a trip go overseas, something,” she sings. “Let the top down feel the breeze, something / Got it all baby if you ever need something.”
Chaz French takes her up on the offer with a fast witted third verse about heightened intimacy and being devoted lovers. “Put it on me baby let a n***a show you I can do it all at the right time,” he raps. “Know I need love, know I need a good meal and a prayer in the meantime.”
“Something” is the latest release off Bridget Kelly’s forthcoming album Reality Bites, which is expected to be released on April 27.
