Kehlani gets intimate with a lady friend in the retro-inspired music video for “Done For Me,” her pop collaboration with Charlie Puth.
Directed by RJ Sanchez and Brendan Vaughn, the sensual visual features stylistic references to the ’80s. Charlie is captured crooning devotion to his lady in front of a mirror, while Lani takes her girl into a bubble bath.
“I lie for you, baby,” sings Puth. “I die for you, baby / Cry for you, baby / But tell me what you’ve done for me.” Kehlani adds: “I won’t beg for your love, won’t say please / I won’t fall to the ground on my knees.”
Last month, Charlie Puth opened up about the collaboration with Baelani. “You know when you meet somebody and you just know that you’re going to be friends with them for a really, really long time?” he said. “That was her when I met her. She’s just such a warm and outgoing person and just such a good distinct voice.”
This is just the latest single from Charlie’s highly-anticipated album VoiceNotes, which will also feature “Attention,” “How Long,” the Boyz II Men duet “If You Leave Me Now,” “Patient,” and “Change” featuring James Taylor.
