Maurice Moore pays homage to his favorite artist, Shania Twain with his latest #MauriceMooreMondays release. The Canadian crooner surprises fans by revealing that Twain is his favorite artist of all time, and even shared an adorable throwback photo of himself as a young boy in front of a poster of Shania.
“I grew up listening to a ton of different music and of course plenty of R&B but my number one favorite artist of all time would have to be Shania Twain,” says Moore. “I had her posters in my bedroom as a kid and spent hours memorizing her songs and mimicking her vocal nuances (you may even be able to pick out the influence in some of my melody choices on other songs). ‘Forever and Always’ by Shania is easily one of my favorite songs EVER. I wanted to put my own lil spin on it and pay my dues to one of the all time GOATS.”
