Tone Stith recently got ‘Focused‘ now he’s “Boo’d Up” on his latest cover.
The budding R&B star shares a head bobbing remake of Ella Mai’s breakout single for this week’s “ToneTuesdays.” Over his grooved-out production, the singer/songwriter covers Ella’s original lyrics with his own melody, harmonies and vocal inflections. Stith’s tone and vocal range are a perfect compliment to the sweet love song.
“Head over heels in love,” he sings. “Right in front of you, ain’t gotta look no more baby / I wanna build this love / And everything you want, you ain’t gotta ask for / You got me boo’d up, boo’d up.”
Last Friday, Tone saw his first major label release with “Light Flex” featuring 2 Chainz. The track is the latest single off the RCA Records soundtrack to the upcoming sports comedy UNCLE DREW. Prior to that, he shared the original song “Blame.”
