This is what we like to see! R&B getting love again on MTV! Luke James dropped the crazy new bedroom burner “These Arms” at the top of the month and the fan response has been extremely positive.
Following an introduction by Sway, the lights go blue and the passionate crooner leans in to the hanging microphone. Opening with his signature falsetto, Luke coos out to his lover with sexually stimulating plans.
“So sugar tease me, please me, girl, do what you do,” he sings. “I love the view / I just wanna kiss and touch and feel all over you.”
Becoming fully immersed in the song’s emotion around the bridge, James lets out a shrilling wail that will send chill bumps over your body.
Previously speaking about the song with Billboard, Luke says: “In life, as I am learning and loving people, I find that trust in vulnerability. I find that [vulnerability] to be something questionable and hard to do. You just never know what someone is thinking. I guess ‘These Arms’ is a song of reassurance. You know?”
It was recently announced that Luke James has been picked up for season three of Star for his role as Noah Brooks. In addition to the acting success, he has found a new purpose with his music, so expect more to be on the way.
