Tone Tuesdays are back!!
After a brief hiatus last month, Tone Stith returns to his weekly release series with the super sultry new track “Sex Drive.” Opening with a buttery bassline the track then picks up the feel-good throwback vibes with an infectious rhythmic synthesizer. The 22-year-old singer/songwriter/producer has romance on the brain as he caters to summer lovers.
“I wanted to switch it up a Lil bit, so here’s a summer vibe you can 2 step too!” Tone Stith wrote about the release.
Singing out to his crush with his herald falsetto, Stith puts her behind the ‘wheel’ and in control of accelerating their passionate drive. “Do it in a 69 Camaro / We gon’ switch the vibe up a little,” he sings. “To a different feel / You gon’ take the wheel / Do it wit’ no hands, eat you like a meal.”
It’s a very welcomed return from the rising R&B artist, who is putting the finishing touches on his next project, the follow-up to his acclaimed debut album, Can We Talk.
