Rising London based artist Jvck James returns with a haunting new single and video called “Fears.” The track follows the 19-year-old singer/songwriter’s May release “On My Way,” which displayed a combination of ’90s influences and UK gritty soul.
The new release is more futuristic soul with heavy synth in the production, as Jvck delivers a smooth interlaced croon. Caught up in a situationship that is turning undesirable, Jvck James is looking for a way out. “Life flashed before our eyes, intuition must have died,” he sings. “Too drowned out to here us cry now we’re lost up in our lies.”
The Elliot Simpson-directed visual finds the singer walking around London at night with an aimless stroll. His assumed inspiration is seen walking through the streets as well while scenes of them together flash back through his mind.
