Gallant lit up the stage during his visit to “Good Morning America” on Tuesday (July 24).
The Grammy-nominated R&B singer/songwriter opened his set with an energized performance of “Doesn’t Matter,” from his upcoming sophomore studio album. The crooner started slow and steady alone, center stage, and as the song picked up, he started to move around the stage and joined his background singers in smooth and synchronized harmony.
Gallant closed his set with his latest single, “Crimes.” The bluesy and soulful tune is very personal, and every note and falsetto soars. Gallant sings every lyric with vulnerability, especially with lines like “Honestly, I can’t keep overlooking all your crimes.”
