This week, Tone Stith takes a break from giving fans a new original song and shares a cover of the popular R&B duet “Best Part” by Daniel Caesar and H.E.R.
The 23-year-old crooner takes on both roles using his signature falsetto for H.E.R.’s opening verse and then layering his vocals for the heartfelt chorus. On Daniel’s second verse, Tone adjusts his own tone and melody.
“It’s this sunrise, and those brown eyes / You’re the one that I desire,” he sings. “When we wake up, then we make love / It makes me feel so nice.”
The cover is produced by Desmond Dennis, who Tone also collaborated with on a playful cover video of “Candy Rain” by Soul 4 Real.
