What’s better than a summer filled with a whole bunch of new music? Whether you are vacationing, on break from school, or just enjoying the sun and summer breezes the connection to the music is always heightened and more memorable. It’s never a guarantee which summer month will bring the most new bops, but this past July was great and delivered a ton of new R&B.

Last month brought us some big surprise comebacks from favorites like Lloyd, Mario, and Estelle, along with hot new releases from Childish Gambino, Ro James, and Miguel. Additionally, buzzing artists like VanJess, Ari Lennox, Jessie Reyez, and Kiana Ledé all dropped some new gems.
