dvsn shares a dangerous love story in the video for “Morning After.”
Taking place in Mexico City, the lo-fi visual showcases the relationship between a Bonnie and Clyde-like duo, whose love only grows stronger throughout time. It opens with them as kids, and follows them to present day, still on the run before things take a bloody turn.
“Tell me what it’s gonna take for you to stay,” sings Daniel Daley. “You ain’t gotta do a thing / No you can just lay here with me tonight / You can just lay here, roll up and stay here.”
“Morning After” is the title track off dvsn’s stellar sophomore album, which features previous singles “Think About Me,” “Don’t Choose,” and “Mood.”
Next up, the duo of Daniel Daley and Nineteen85 will join Miguel on “The Ascension Tour,” which kicks off Aug. 23 in Boston.
