Lloyd is so “Excited” and so are we to see him unveil the sexy music video for one of our favorite tracks off his album, TRU.
Directed by Jamaica Craft and Chante Jacobs, the visual carries retro themes as the R&B star performs a slick two-step dance routine with two partners in a photo studio and kicks game to his love interest posted up against a green jeep.
“Just bring your body, bring your love / Let my body fill you up,” he sings on the BBQ ready jam. “Baby ain’t no running tonight / Ain’t nobody gonna tell you no / So do whatever you want / It’s a party.”
Speaking about the song and how it inspired the video, Lloyd says:
“Having an all around good time to music is a family pastime. Whether we were driving to New Orleans for the summer, hanging out with friends at the skating rink, at the park for a bbq, or out on a date, there was one common denominator. Music. It was the soundtrack to some of my life’s most memorable moments. My hope is that ‘Excited,’ a song inspired by my love for skating, dancing, and live music, will be played during those same memorable moments in the lives of others. So Tie up your skates real tight, grab a partner, and get off the wall!”
