Drop the top and ride slow to the beautiful sounds of the Free Nationals debut single.

The 4 member group are best known as Anderson .Paak’s live band, but now they are stepping out with their own studio album. On Tuesday (Oct. 9), the band released their debut single “Beauty & Essex” featuring vocals from the amazing Daniel Caesar and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.

The groovy track is lush and hypnotically sexy as Caesar’s tone glides blissfully over the track. Sharing a provocative intimacy like never before, Daniel sings: “Moon time smells like sex and flowers / We’ve been gone for hours / I, feel fine, inspired completely / Serenade you sweetly.”

The Free Nationals consist of Jose Rios (guitar), Ron Tnava Avant (keyboard), Kelsey Gonzales (bass), and Callum Connor (drums). Their upcoming album is said to be self-titled and it will include features from Kali Uchis, Syd, Chronixx, and the late Mac Miller.
