In anticipation for her full-length mixtape set to drop this coming Friday, Kehlani delivers yet another feels-snatching, piecemeal single for fans to consume while we wait for ‘While We Wait.’
The song stiff-arms and instructs her former love to move on from their bygone relationship as Kehlani sings, “Ain’t nunya business (Nunya) / Ain’t nunya business (Nunya) / To know who I’m with / Oh, none of my shit.”
“Nunya” is engagingly straightforward as Kehlani makes it unmistakably clear that she feels no remorse and that life is beautiful for her as she letters to her ex-love to just let things go, and quit it.
“It’s none of your, none of your, none of your bees / But you can’t, you can’t let me live,” she adds.
With new music and a newborn on the way, 2019 is shaping up to be all-Kehlani.
