Hailing from across the pond, London-based songstress Rahh makes a splash with her new single “Home.” The song will capture your attention right away with strong gospel-inspired harmonies and its honest, yet raw lyrics. The soulful R&B artist wastes no time letting you know the song is about pressing social issues.
Repeatedly singing “leave a light on,” Rahh gives listeners chills with her vocals. In the song, she directly addresses societal problems involving drugs, sex, guns, money, social unrest, and love. Matching the lyrics, is a well-directed music video with powerful visuals. Beginning with Rahh in a dark room standing and reacting to her words, the visual then transitions to more activity including dance moves inspired by the art direction of the hit Netflix series “The OA.”
“Home” follows her recent release “Forget The Rules,” a sexy love song worth giving a play. Likewise, Rahh’s name seems to be building a buzz as she performed this summer with artists like Emeli Sandé, and will perform a solo show on September 30.
