Soul singer Noel Gourdin is back with his brand new single “Lovin’ Up (You).” If the name Noel Gourdin sounds familiar, it’s because he had a mega hit with his single “The River” from his debut album After My Time. “The River” peaked at number one on the Urban AC charts for 15 weeks. Since his debut, Noel Gourdin has released two follow-up albums, Fresh: The Definition and City Heart, Southern Soul, which found success in the US & UK R&B scene.
Now, the Boston native is back like he never left with his new soulful single. “Lovin’ Up (You)” is the first single from his upcoming EP BlakButtah Vol.2. While it’s a challenge to outperform a massive record like “The River,” this song deserves a chance to do it. It’s a classic slice of 90’s R&B/Hip-Hop. Noel easily navigates the record’s toe tapping groove with his unique tone. Noel is sure to attract new supporters as well as satisfy long time fans. Welcome back Noel.
