Just announced, Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash Festival, the premier hip-hop music festival in the Midwest, is excited to reveal an expanded music lineup broken down by day for this year’s three-day music festival returning Friday, June 17 through Sunday, June 19 to Douglass Park in Chicago, Illinois.
Kicking off the festival on Friday night features a headlining performance from Grammy Award-winning, platinum-selling emcee Lil Uzi Vert, who was brought back to perform once again following fervent fan feedback and a thunderous headlining performance at Summer Smash 2021. Additional Day 1 performers joining the Philly-born rap rockstar skew across a wide range of hip-hop subgenres with acts like Wiz Khalifa, Trippie Redd, Lil Skies, Rico Nasty, Nardo Wick, Sheck Wes, Yung Bans, Chicago’s very own Lucki, and newly added SSGKobe, among many others.
International hip-hop superstar Post Malone will headline Saturday night marking the award-winning singer/songwriter’s first major performance following the highly anticipated release of his fourth studio album “Twelve Carat Toothache” on June 3.
Perennial fashion trendsetter and mysterious emcee Playboi Carti will help close out the three-day fest on Sunday night while he continues to tease fans with new tunes from his upcoming project Music that follows the release of Whole Lotta Red which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album charts.
