The “Roots Picnic” returns to The Mann in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park for a two-day event filled with music, art, and culture on Saturday & Sunday, June 4th and  5th 2022.

The festival is headlined, hosted, and curated by the Grammy-winning hip-hop group ‘The Roots”  and co-presented by Live Nation Urban.

Mary J. Blige and The Roots will join forces on stage for the first time ever to headline the festival with a once-in-a-lifetime set.

The line-up includes some of the biggest names in the festival’s history including Summer Walker, Wizkid, Kirk Franklin, Jazmine Sullivan, DJ Jazzy Jeff & Rakim, DJ Diamond Kuts,  Keyshia Cole, J Period Live Mixtape featuring Black Thought, Rick Ross, G Herbo, Mickey Guyton, Muni Long, Tone Stith, Alex Isley and more.

The festival will also feature a fan-favorite podcast stage curated by “Wallo267 and “Gillie The King” with live podcasts from “QuestLove Supreme,” “Earn Your Leisure,” “Million Dollaz Worth Of Fame,” “Rory  & Mal,” and “Jemele Hill is Unbothered” and more.
