Rising artist Lord Solomon Brown releases his Debut EP “Baptize Me Everywhere”

By

R&B soul artist Lord Solomon release his debut album “Baptize Me Everywhere” today. The 6-track project is reminiscent of the 90’s Neo-soul era.

The Chicago native, rising singer/ songwriter lays down a soulful heartfelt lyrical journey of love and relationships with powerful messages within each track. He has put so much energy and emotion into this project, that as we listen, we really feel his pain within the songs. Vocally he is a powerhouse of soul-belting melodies. In other words, HE CAN SING!

Right from the very beginning with track #1,  Solomon takes us to church with this powerful and all too familiar subject matter, “My Strength Is Gone” the ending of a relationship. You can’t focus on the time spent building the partnership, but rather on what you’re currently faced with, emotions, and the lack of communication. He has put a spin on the topic with his male point of view. Nothing can keep you together if both parties aren’t willing participants. He sings, ” I can’t keep on, holding on to someone, who won’t hold on to me.” Solomon delivers an envigorating message with the most simplistic lyrics that drive this point home.

Speaking about the single, Solomon shares, “I was in a relationship that drained tf outta me. I was in love with someone who was using me as an emotional epidural to get over somebody they was in love with who was using them to get over somebody that they was in love with. I was in a loop of heartache and by the end I had nothing left to give to anybody not even to my damn myself. I  wrote the song after my first relationship after moving to LA in 2017.”

“A Love The World Couldn’t Give” track #2 is a deep thought-provoking track, that will really have you analyzing everything. “You were looking for love the world couldn’t give you” Wow, we’re all searching and seeking true love. This slow and steady ballad brings forth time and measure that speaks to your heart.

Lord Solomon creatively infuses Neo-Soul, Gospel Quartet, 90’s Hip-Hop Jazz, 70’s Ballads, and modern beats to create a time portal of eclectic yet familiar vibes throughout the album.  He has been praised for incredible songwriting abilities by super producers Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Tank, Rico Love, DJ Camper, and more, this artist is like a mixture of something that feels familiar with something you never heard or seen before.
