Rock the Park DC WKNDR returns with Moodymann, Rich Medina, Miguel Migs & More!


Rock the Park DC WKNDR returns this weekend October 21 -22 to Franklin Park during Howard University’s Homecoming!

Get ready for an autumn weekend of incredible dance music in the District’s largest downtown green space: Franklin Park. The popular Rock the Park DC WKNDR, produced by the DowntownDC BID in partnership with veteran producers and curators Abby O’Neill and Adrian Loving.

It’s a free two-day festival featuring local and international DJs who specialize in breakbeats, Go-Go, soul, funk, reggae, and soulful house music. This year’s acts include headliners Dam Funk, Moodymann and Rich Medina, and Miguel Migs ft. Lisa Shaw.

As we embark on the third year of our free two-day festival, we’re thrilled to infuse the infectious rhythms of house music, Go-Go, funk, and hip-hop with an electrifying and idyllic lineup. Leave your stresses at home and come let it all out on the dance floor.”

I am honored to encourage celebration and fellowship with my fellow Bison and give a nod to the thousands of alumni visiting DC for Howard Homecoming,” says curator Adrian Loving.

 In addition to the performers, there will be food trucks, event-branded swag, and more.

Rock the Park WKNDR festival is free, family-friendly, and open to all.
