Shindo!!! Imagine getting goosebumps from hearing the most magical voices but from feeling the true love and energy. Imagine the vocal energy being so magnetic that it pulls you into a musical escape. Well, that can be described as Shindo! That’s what happened when ThisIsRnB caught up with The Shindellas in Philly on the ‘Rebirth OF Marvin Tour’. These gorgeous, super talented, beautiful souls discussed their recent single “Think Of Me” from the latest ‘Shindo’ album.
We were hit with the “Shindo” when the ladies treated us to an A Capella snippet of their latest single ‘Think Of Me,” just Wow, Wow, Wow!
They also talked about how special it was to be asked by October London to be part of the ‘Rebirth Of Marvin Tour’ and what it’s like being on tour with London and J Brown. The Shindellas shared a special moment of what it was like to finish praying before their Nashville show only to open their eyes to see the one and only Jill Scott standing there. It was truly heartwarming to see the joy, excitement, and love they expressed for “Jilly from Philly.” Their gratitude and introspection about women supporting women in the industry was evident.
Following our interview, we headed to the stage and got to see these incredible ladies in their element. The trio had a double-duty night, performing their own set as well as providing backup vocals for headliner October London.
The Shindellas performance was amazing, to say the least. They performed new music and some covers. Their songs are well-written, well-performed, and good for the soul, which makes you fall in love with their music and them.
