Well, it seems Ciara‘s first attempt at a buzz song, “Sweat” featuring 2 Chainz, came and went pretty fast. There was a little bit of promo building for the forthcoming release of her fifth album One Woman Army, and first on Epic Records under LA Reid, but after that release, they will hopefully be coming stronger with the next couple of singles.
In the mean time though, all the CiCi stans out there can get a fix with the recently surfaced snippet of “Overdose.” A cute, dance track, slightly Britney-ish, but kinda catchy. This was one of the handful of tracks played during Ciara’s NYC album preview party back in early June. Take a listen for now and stay tuned… What do you think??

Far cry from the swag of Promise or Ride (her best songs) but it is pretty infectious. Much better effort than Sweat

Definitely current and doesn’t sound near as dated or hard to get into like “Sweat”. Its catchy, it gets in your head and i’m not complaining! Would definitely be a hit on Mainstream radio. I def see the Britney comparison… HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
