TGT (Tank, Ginuwine, Tyrese) Sign with Atlantic Records, Album Due Next Year

By

We have been covering the news of the TGT (Tank, Ginuwine, Tyrese) project as the R&B singers have come back together to work on the delayed project. As things are continuing to positively progress the trio have officially signed a deal with Atlantic Records for the album!  In a recent interview with our friends at YKIGS, Ginuwine mentioned they have about 10 songs so far, and plan to record around 30-35.

During an interview at this past ESSENCE Music Festival, Tyrese explained, “We’re just gonna mold and shape the spirit of R&B and remind [people] why they fell in love with R&B in the first place.”

“Hopefully the people that grew up with my music and Tank’s music and Tyrese’s music will continue to support us as TGT,” said Ginuwine.

I know for many R&B fans, this is an exciting project, and much-anticipated as they originally began plans 4 years ago. With Atlantic being Tank’s label home, it seems to make sense, and hopefully we can get a single or two this year, while the full album is expected next year.
