Lyfe Jennings premieres the music video for his comeback single “Boomerang.” The soulful crooner brings his tale of karma to life in the visual, which showcases the effects of treating a woman wrong, and how wrongful actions will return to hurt the aggressor.
“If you break a woman’s heart that is going to come back to you,” explains Lyfe. “If you disrespect her and don’t pay attention to her feelings, she’s not just going to get over it. You don’t realize that when it’s happening though. That’s what the songs about.”
“Boomerang” was written by Lyfe and produced by G2G and LaShaunda “Baby Girl” Carr. The Grammy Award winner signed a new joint venture deal with Mass Appeal Entertainment to release his fifth studio album ‘Lucid,’ which is due out October 8.
