Grammy nominated musician and producer Brandon Williams is on a mission to bring back classic R&B by any means necessary. Now debuting “Stronger” the first release from his forthcoming album “XII,” due in the spring 2014, the single features the sweet vocals of Jean Baylor (formerly of Zhané), along with her husband, acclaimed musician Marcus Baylor on drums.
Written & produced by Williams and Marcus & Jean Baylor (a.k.a. “The Baylors”), “Stronger” is a heartfelt ballad that tells the age old story of the ups & downs in a relationship that requires that inner strength to make it through. Williams says, “With the world we live in today, people are very quick to walk away from relationships at the first sign of trouble. That has to change. We need more messages like “Stronger” encouraging and promoting not only love, but endurance.”
“It was an absolute pleasure working with Brandon on “XII” and putting our heads together to create “Stronger”, a new R&B classic. We hope this song will help others to stick the rough times out. We’re also very proud to be a part of a project that will represent what R&B music has always been,” Baylor said.
Williams is making the single available for free download, for a limited time, now via his website bwilliamsmusic.com. Take a listen to “Stronger” below!
