Knocking down doors with no care of taking names, the surprise album has scored record breaking sales in just a mere three days! Selling a jaw-dropping amount of 828,773 on iTunes, the songstress has set the new record for fattest selling album on iTunes – worldwide!
Also setting records for U.S. first-week sells by raking in 617,213 copies sold and hitting number one in over 100 countries, Beyoncé closed out 2013 on a super high note. To continue adding to the success of the surprise album for fans, Mrs. Carter can now add in having the largest sales week of 2013 for a woman.
While the official Billboard 200 weekly calculations haven’t dropped yet, it’s easy to say that we’ll be seeing Beyoncé sitting pretty in that top spot. A “Diva” in her own lane, she definitely “woke up like ‘dis”!
