We were literally just talking about this the other day, but Allen Stone will be taking his amazing talents up to the majors. The hippie soul singer, who we first featured in 2011 with his performance of “Unaware,” has signed a recording contract with Capitol Records.
Prior to the new deal, Stone released two independent albums, Last To Speak (2010) and the self-titled Allen Stone in 2011.
Since releasing the self-titled album the Washington native has been touring heavily across the Unites States and overseas, building a very strong following.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting new music, and he has his anticipated third studio album in the works. “This new record is a brighter, sleeker color of soul music that portrays the last three years of my experience. Where I’ve been, what I’ve learned, what I’ve lost, and where I’m going. It’s the measurement of my soul and my sound at this current place in my life,” said Stone.
Before he drops his debut album on Capitol, the preacher’s son will head back out on the road on February 15.
Darealrome absolutely.this should be a huge move considering he has a solid fan base
