Noel Gourdin surprised us with his end of the year holiday project ‘One Gift‘ this past December. Now, to kick off 2014 the soulful singer/songwriter captivates once again with “Heaven Knows.” The piano laden cut acts as the official lead single off his new album City Heart, Southern Soul, which is scheduled for release on February 18 via Top Notch Music/Shanachie Entertainment.
Gourdin addresses the pain and struggle of his rocky relationship, while he showcases his impressive vocal range and flawless falsetto.
“Where did we go wrong in this love affair/ Too late to turn around/ No need to remind me there/ Cuz we both lied and we cheated/ I still care please believe it/ I pray to god that we’ll make it, like Adam and Eve we’re both naked,” coos Gourdin on the heartfelt tune.
