TV One’s popular reality series ‘R&B Divas‘ will return tonight with the second season of their Los Angeles edition.
The 10 episode, one-hour show reunites original cast members Chanté Moore, Lil’ Mo, Claudette Ortiz and Michel’le, and welcomes new Divas Chrisette Michele and Leela James. Each episode will follow these six exceptional women as they balance a series of personal issues, such as divorce and struggles with suicide, while fighting to rise and stay on top of the R&B charts.
During the Season 2 opener Claudette has been approached for a project to promote Puerto Rico with a song and performance at Carnaval de Poncé. She wants the Divas to join her but, the original Divas history from last season with the Divalogues has made them unsure of the project. Michel’le struggles with coming to terms with her suicide attempt and wants to help others.
