Teyana Taylor is a mysterious chanteuse with the feds hot on her tail in the cinematic music video for “Maybe” featuring Pusha T and Yo Gotti. Inspired by the seductive films Eyes Wide Shut and Sin City, the dark, sexy visual play out like pages in a comic book.
Teyana plays three different character assassins to carry out her mission (herself, Jacquéline Mercury, and Greyla Greathouse), while seducing her target during a masquerade ball.
“It was like a comic book theme so I got to play the beautiful assassin,” she said. “The look that I was going for was the whole underworld, kinda sassy, kinda sexy place.”
Teyana’s debut album VII is due October 21 via G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam.
