Throwback Tuesday: Co-Ed feat. T.I. – ‘Roll With Me’ (Remix)

By

Co-Ed was a R&B group from Atlanta, GA. that consisted of 4 members, 2 girls and 2 boys. Jeff C., Bianca, Nikki, and Jeff B. For a while (since the late ’90s) they have been combining the elements of R&B, Pop, Dance, and Hip-Hop.

“Roll With Me” was a single off the group’s 2001 album Utopia. The single gained success and charted at No. 23 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Chart. Rapper T.I. was featured on the remix. The success of “Roll With Me” led to the group signing to Universal Records. The group was noted for their soulful vocals and ballads as well as their gospel influence.

“We sing from our soul” says Bianca. Like many R&B groups, Co-Ed, had gospel chords throughout their music. Enjoy the throwback above.
