List: The Best of October – Top 12 Records

Mystery Skulls feat. Brandy & Nile Rodgers – Number 1

It’s party time and Brandy’s here to join in! Collaborating with newcomer Mystery Skulls and Nile Rodgers, the veteran songstress assists in delivering the fun and flashy new single, “Number 1”. Following the release of Brandy’s remake to the Coldplay single, “Magic,” this feature is getting us more and more prepped for her follow-up to 2012’s Two Eleven.

Kehlani – Till the Morning

Last appearing on our list in July, Kehlani doubles back for this month’s round up with her new seductive single, “Till the Morning”. Truly one of our favorite rising young artists, the Bay Area talent continues to impress us with her vocal capabilities and relatable song lyrics.

Candice – Lesbian

Things have seemed quiet for talented songstress Candice since the release of her debut mixtape Live From the Smokers Room last November, but that hasn’t stopped us from wondering where Ne-Yo’s protege ran off to. Well, this month, our minds were put to rest as she tip-toed back on the scene with a new single titled “Lesbian”. Accompanied by a four song sampler, the new song delivers the style and honesty that we’ve grown to love the songstress for since her arrival last year.

Charlie Wilson – Goodnight Kisses

His name is Charlie, last name Wilson and he’s back! With a career that spans over 40 years, Uncle Charlie is keeping the love of R&B alive. Releasing a brand new single titled “Goodnight Kisses,” the 61-year-old legend proves that age ain’t nothing but a number when it comes to giving good music and good loving.

Awesome! Becoming a dad I have little time to browse for new music. These monthly packs help a great deal. Keep it up!
