Jordin Sparks looks past the recent gossip about her break-up with longtime boyfriend Jason Derulo and back toward the music. With a title that seems fitting for the current situation in her personal life, the singer/actress has released a new song named “I Wish We’d All Been Ready,” from the upcoming movie Left Behind.
Serving as the main theme song for the apocalyptic thriller, the stirring ballad finds Sparks singing heartfelt lyrics about troubling societal struggles.
Starring Nicolas Cage and directed by Vic Armstrong, Left Behind is based on the novel of the same name by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. Jordin also stars in the film as a main character named Shasta Carvell. The film is set to hit theaters this Friday, October 3.
