How fast time flies, as we get closer and closer to 2015, the 57th Annual Grammy Awards are just around the corner, and the nominees are now in!!

R&B and Soul is leading the pack this year as Beyoncé and Sam Smith have scored six nods each. Usher follows closely behind with 4, along with Iggy Azalea, Sia, Eric Church, Gordon Goodwin, Miranda Lambert, and Jack White.

Bey earned nominations in categories including Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, Best Urban Contemporary Album, Best Surround Sound Album, and Best Music Film. She also becomes the most nominated woman in the history of the Grammys.

Sam Smith was named under Best New Artist, of course, along with the coveted Record of the Year and Song of the Year categories for “Stay With Me.” Usher has been recognized for his hot single “Good Kisser” and collaboration with Chris Brown on “New Flame.” Some of the best from R&B’s new class, including Luke James, Mali Music and Jhené Aiko, pulled in single noms under the R&B categories.

The biggest category, Album of the Year, will be revealed during the CBS special “A Very Grammy Christmas” at 9 p.m. EST tonight.

The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 8, 2015 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
