Leon Bridges – Lisa Sawyer
Newcomer Leon Bridges captured our ears this month and found a place in our hearts with his personal ode to his mother titled “Lisa Sawyer.” The song – which was penned by the Texas native – is a reminiscent sound of the soulful doo-wop sound that was present in the 1940’s. Fitting the mold of vintage music, “Lisa Sawyer,” is one of many flashbacks to the past that we’ll receive from the talented singer.
