Just like that, Mariah Carey is back again!
With her residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas kicking off next month, the pop diva returns with the new single “Infinity.” Sometimes even real love doesn’t last forever as MC sings about a breakup (much like her own with Nick Cannon) on the triumphant tune, which she co-wrote and produced with Eric Hudson.
“Close the door, lose the key, leave my heart on the mat for me / I was yours eternally / There’s an end to infinity,” sings Mariah.
“Infinity” will be the one new song on her upcoming greatest hits album #1 to Infinity, due out May 18. The collection includes all 18 of her Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles. A music video for “Infinity,” directed by Brett Ratner, is also on the way.
Mariah will celebrate her Caesars Palace Vegas residency with a kickoff event in Las Vegas later today (April 27). The first show starts May 6.
