With only a week to go before the release of his much-anticipated third album Wildheart, Miguel has teamed up with NPR Music for an advance preview of the LP with a full album stream!
The follow-up to 2012’s Grammy-nominated Kaleidoscope Dream features 13 tracks including the lead single “Coffee,” plus appearances from Lenny Kravitz and Kurupt.
“This album is Los Angeles, it’s attitude, it’s aggression, it’s sex, it’s pyschedelia, it’s lust, it’s loneliness,” Miguel previously told VH1. “It’s just more aggressive. It’s just raw. That’s why I love this album.”
In advance of his summer tour, which kicks off on July 24 in Austin, Texas, NPR is bringing Miguel to the stage for a First Listen Live performance. They will be giving away free tickets to attend the concert in New York City and also host a live video webcast of the entire show for those watching from everywhere else. The performance will be available to stream Tuesday, June 30, 2015 starting at 9PM ET at NPR.org/Music.
Free tickets to the June 30 concert in New York City will be distributed by NPR Music via social media starting at Noon ET on Friday, June 26.
