Tinashe is the latest artist to be interviewed by the infamous Nardwuar, who caught up with the R&B/Pop star during her visit to Vancouver as part of Nicki Minaj’s “Pinkprint Tour.”
During their 12-minute conversation, the Canadian journalist presented her with records from one of her favorite Canadian artists-Emily Haines, as well as Fela Kuti and Ladysmith Black Mambazo (her brother was named after one of the members).
In addition to showcasing some of her 12 different laughs, she discussed her favorite Mexican food spots in La Crescenta, losing on “America’s Most Talented Kid,” and splitting her pants onstage.
“My brother said, ‘You know you’ve made it when get interviewed by Nardwuar,’ so I guess I’ve made it,” said Tinashe.
