Trevor Jackson is poised to have a big year in 2016. Currently co-starring in the second season of ABC’s drama American Crime, opposite Andre Benjamin (Andre 3000) and Regina King, the 19-year-old singer/actor has much in store on the music side as well.
This past summer, Jackson released his fan favorite mixtape In My Feelings, and he is currently prepping the release of the music video for the IAMSU!-assisted “Rock Wit You,” which follows the emotional visuals for the personal “Like I Do.” The later was a dedication to his cousin, Mark Cotton, who was shot and killed in November.
Trevor has shared a teaser for the upcoming “Rock Wit You” video, which plays off the songs theme of trying to convince a new crush to give him a chance. The brief clip opens with Trevor starting college and seeing the new girl of his dreams.
Additionally, he recently released a R&B freestyle over DJ Luke Nasty’s version of buzzing artist Anderson .Paak’s “Might Be.” Check out the video preview and freestyle below.
