New Music: Tweet feat. Missy Elliott – Somebody Else Will

With a week to go before the release of Tweet‘s new album Charlene, the southern songstress has given us a chance to hear one of the most anticipated cuts off the project.

More than a decade after their smash hit “Oops (Oh My),” Tweet teams up with Missy Elliot once again for the sultry sweet jam, “Somebody Else Will.” Missy opens up the song flexing on an ex who’s “all up in his feelings.” Then, Ms. Hummingbird takes over with soothing vocals about an undeserving lover. “If you don’t love me,” she sings. “Somebody else will.”

Missy and Tweet have worked together several times over the years. Beyond “Oops,” the duo linked up on “Turn da Lights Off,” “Things I Don’t Mean,” and “Thugman.” Listen to their latest collaboration “Somebody Else Will” below and cop Charlene on Feb. 26.
